Industry outsider Chris Harrington is joining A2B Transfers owner Hoppa Group as sales director.
He will succeed current business to business sales director Phil Norris, who retires this month after nine years with the transfer provider.
Norris has had a 44-year career in the industry spanning many major companies including Thomas Cook, Thomson, Unijet and Holiday Inn.
Harrington has more than 20 sales and leadership at HSBC, technology business Maru/edr and manufacturer UKCG Group.
Company chief operating officer Matt Hall said: “We are delighted to welcome Chris Harrington to the business where his technical and operational experience will be invaluable to our growth and development plans.
“We would like to thank Phil Norris for his substantial contribution to the growth and success of the company and hope he enjoys a well-deserved retirement.”
Harrington added: “I am excited to join the team at Hoppa and look forward to working with them to help grow the business further.
“There are some new and exciting developments this year that I will be focusing on to take the business to the next stage with a particular focus on growing choice and destinations for our customers and to invest in our technology.”
