Kuoni is to run its Worldwide College agent training programme for a second year following its successful relaunch last year.
The focus this year will be the Far East and for the first time there will be events in Bristol and Belfast. Training will also be held in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
There will be seven events in total across the five venues, and at each agents will have a chance to win a place on a Far East fam trip.
Kuoni said 220 agents had already signed up but there were 130 places still up for grabs.
The first event is in London on June 4, with a daytime and separate evening event; followed by Manchester on June 6; Birmingham on June 12, where there are both daytime and evening events; Bristol on June 14; and Belfast on July 3. Venues have yet to be confirmed.
Kuoni’s trade team will host the training in partnership with Shangri-La, Banyan Tree and Oberoi, three of the operator’s key resort partners.
Sessions will feature interactive breakout sessions. Destinations including Thailand, Vietnam and Bali will be showcased in a fun way, according to head of trade sales Brad Bennetts.
He said: “Last year’s Worldwide College was a huge success, with many of our events oversubscribed.
“We had some fantastic feedback and sales uplift following the events, so we’ve been able to make this year’s events bigger and better.”
He added: “It’s all about equipping agents with inspiring insights, and the event format very much fits with our face-to-face personal approach.”
Kuoni brought back a new-look Worldwide College last year after a six-year gap. Last year it focused on the Indian Ocean.
