DFDS Seaways alters price structure in Cruisebreaks brochure

DFDS Seaways has changed the pricing structure in its Cruisebreaks programme to make it easier for agents to use.

The new southern-edition breaks brochure features just two seasons: peak, which is July and August, and off peak, which covers the rest of the year.

UK marketing manager Matthew Eastlake said the redesign was prompted by feedback from agents about the pricing structure in previous brochures.

“It makes sense for us to make life as easy as possible for the people that do the work for us,” he said. “I hope agents will find the new structure simple to use.”

The brochure also features a new £10 discount for passengers travelling off peak from the UK between Sunday and Wednesday. The programme, on sale now for holidays until September 2000, offers two and three-night cruise breaks, city breaks and four, five and six-night self-catering deals.

Off-peak prices lead in at £49 per person, including the £10 discount, for a two-night cruise break from Harwich to Esbjerg or Hamburg including breakfast and sightseeing tour.

Half-board is available from £30 per person.

The Vradal Hotel in Norway has been added for this winter. Open from January to April, prices lead in at £144 for three nights.
