Luxury villa specialist Solmar Villas is supporting good causes in its region with a Black Friday prize draw, with three week-long breaks up for grabs.
Based in Burton-upon-Trent, the family-run business is calling on Midlands charities to register for the chance to win a stay at one of its 500 villas across 15 destinations.
Three properties will be available for charities which might want to use them as part of a fundraising drive or to give some of the people they support the chance to enjoy a holiday in the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Cyprus, Greece and mainland Spain.
Organisations need to register on the firm’s website solmarvillas.com and the draw will be made at 5pm on Friday November 23.
Julie Blake, managing director of Solmar Villas, said: “We’ve been involved in Black Friday for a number of years and do our own commercial offers, but this year we wanted to do that little bit extra, which helps people and good causes who may need it.
“You have to be a registered charity and located in the east or west Midlands in order to be entered into the prize draw.
“We’re hoping this could be used to boost funding for charities or to be made available to individuals who don’t normally have the chance to go on holiday.
“This is our way of giving a little bit back.”
The company will also have its own Black Friday deals promotion, called ‘Wheel of Fortune’, which runs from 9am on ‘Black Friday’ (November 23) until midnight on November 26.
Everyone who spins the wheel is guaranteed to win a prize, ranging from an extra 5% off the cost of a villa and ‘buy one week, get one free’ to a £250 discount on a package trip.
There will also be 100 villas available for £99 and one visitor to the website will win a free villa holiday.
Blake added: “If you haven’t tried a villa holiday before, then ‘Black Friday’ gives you a fantastic opportunity to give it a go, at prices you only get once a year.”
Solmar Villas sells via travel agents and has a white-label arrangement with Jet2Villas.
