Gatwick has suspended all flights from the airport as a result of an air traffic control issue.
The airport said it is working “to rectify the issue as soon as possible”.
“Passengers should check with their airline directly or on our website flights page for the latest information on their flight,” the airport said in a statement.
Flights were suspended at 5:08pm on Wednesday July 10.Some flights have been diverted to other airports.
Passengers are advised to check with their airlines for updates to flights.
Due to an air traffic control systems issue in Gatwick’s control tower, flights are currently suspended. We are working with ANS, our air traffic control provider, to rectify this issue as quickly as possible.
