Travelbag has appointed Nicola Richardson as head of marketing.
Richardson, who was formerly head of marketing – long haul at Travelopia, will be responsible for developing and delivering the long-haul tailored specialist’s marketing strategy.
She will lead a team split between the company’s London and Preston offices and report to Travelbag managing director, Lesley Rollo.
Paul Hopkinson, who was marketing director, B2C long haul for Travelbag and Netflights, left the business earlier this month to pursue other interests.
Travelbag’s marketing manager, Betsie Barr, has been promoted to head of partnerships.

The agency business opened its eighth shop in London’s Baker Street this week, employing eight staff.
Rollo said: “We’re very pleased to welcome Nicola to Travelbag, and know her pedigree as a travel marketer will be really beneficial to the team and our brand. We have a lot going on in this, our 40th year, and I know she’s excited to get cracking.
