C&M launches Chisholm & Moore executive search

C&M Recruitment unveiled its new executive search division at the ITT conference and revealed it was looking to expand its team.

TWgroup is the official media partner of the ITT Conference 2010Chisholm & Moore is a joint venture between C&M managing director Angus Chisholm and Marie Moore, who has been working on the project for six months and is already “well ahead of the initial budgets” set for it, according to Chisholm.

Chisholm & Moore, which recruits for senior positions above the £35,000 pay level, is now looking to recruit a fourth person for the team.

Chisholm told ITT delegates at the launch of the brand that as the travel sector recovers from the recession, recruitment was returning to pre-recession levels.

He said C&M Recruitment now has 400 roles available, compared with a low of 80 at the the height of the downturn. Before the recession, the firm would expect to have around 550 roles at any one time.

“We have come back a long way and we are very busy in all our divisions. Our profits are almost back up to where they were pre the recession,” said Chisholm.

“Learning the lessons of the recession has been key. It’s easy to become complacent and we have been forced to make quite serious cuts.”

C&M’s recently-launched recruitment tracking system C&M Talentstore had attracted good interest, Chisholm said, and three firms were in talks about signing up to use it.

Chisholm said one was a major player in the industry and there were two smaller firms interested in using it and one deal was imminent.
