GO chief executive Barbara Cassani will take part in the airline debate at the ABTA Convention in Cairns next month.
She joins British Midland chairman Sir Michael Bishop and Qantas deputy chief executive Geoff Dixon for a debate on the issues facing the industry. News of Cassani’s participation follows confirmation that former Australian prime minister Bob Hawke will deliver a keynote speech to delegates.
Just over 1,500 delegates have registered for the conference, 485 of them agents, along with 319 operators. President Steven Freudmann said the event is likely to only break even after three successive years of profit.
