Grosvenor Travel’s Amanda Parsonage has become the eighth agent to join Tipto’s Agent Ambassador panel.
The Chester-based agent joins the independent tour operators association’s agent panel with immediate effect and will help shape its strategy over the next year.
As an ambassador, she will attend Tipto general meetings and help deliver roadshows, incentives and training and get first refusal on invites to Tipto’s VIP events.
Chairman, Nick Hughes said: “We continue to be impressed by the collective input of our Agent Ambassadors – the panel is going from strength to strength and their experience within the industry is certainly adding value to our strategic position as we move into Year 21.
“We are delighted to welcome Amanda into the fold and look forward to using her knowledge and insights to impact our overall efforts in aiding the learning of agents nationwide.”
Parsonage said: “I have been a regular attendee of Tipto events since coming into travel three years ago and I truly believe the information and industry insights provided by suppliers add real value to our day to day work.
“Tipto is a must for all agents. Its varied event formats offer so much supplier support and really do help agents keep their finger on the pulse of the industry. It’s certainly helped me grow and I’m now excited to repay that debt by helping the association to strategically grow for the benefit of the wider travel trade.”
Tipto continues to look for more agent ambassadors from its regular event attendees who are keen to work with its 20 independent tour operator members.
Parsonage joins the Agent Ambassador panel alongside Jo Richards of Tivoli Travel, Paul Knapper of Spires Travel, Jennifer Harding, a Hays Travel Personal Travel Consultant, Beryl Towne of Altham’s Travel, Stef Trevett of Baileys Travel, Sara Allen of Dartmouth Travel, and Travel Counsellor Su Dillon.
