Travel industry executive recruiter Rick White has closed his executive search business Dunleavy White to join global executive search firm Boyden as partner.
White said he was headhunted himself to set up a new travel and aviation division within the company, which has 65 offices across the globe and is “one of the largest generalist executive search firms in the world”.
He will also run a hospitality and leisure division at Boyden, which was established in 1946.
White joined Boyden this month after closing his own business, which he said had no debtors, and only one other member of staff who was now doing freelance work.
White, a former operations director at Virgin Holidays, said Boyden was very keen to establish itself within the travel and aviation industries.
Dunleavy White was founded in 2009 and also had offices in Dubai and Frankfurt. Before starting the business, White was a partner at international executive search firm Howgate Sable, and a director at Argyle Executive Recruitment.
