A new travel agency providing travel for surgeons carrying out work for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh has joined Hays Travel Independence Group.
Surgeons Quarter Travel is part of an established hospitality business in Edinburgh, Scotland, which already has a four-star hotel, four conference venues and an on-street café in its current portfolio.
Initially, the agency will focus on putting together trips for surgeons but in future there is scope for a public facing office, according to the company.
Scott Mitchell, managing director, Surgeons Quarter, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for us to grow as a commercial company but to assist our parent organisation, The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, with more streamlined, cost-effective travel. With Hays Travel behind us, we are excited to see just how far Surgeons Quarter Travel will go.”
