Coronavirus: LOT cuts London City flights

LOT Polish Airlines has suspended London City airport flights to due to a drop in demand.

Services to Warsaw will not operate until April 24.

The Foreign Office confirmed that the airline’s London City flights had been suspended “due to reduced passenger uptake” but were continuing to other UK airports.

LOT’s flights to Milan and Venice in Italy will continue to be suspended until April 3.

A spokesperson for the airline said: “We are monitoring the costs of the coronavirus impact on our flight operations.

“Further operational decisions will be made based on the global epidemiological situation development.”
