Carrick Travel steps in to help Complete World Travel customers

Carrick Travel has stepped in to assist customers of Complete World Travel after the Stratford-based firm went into administration last week.

The failed agency specialised in the leisure and tours market, an area where Warwickshire-based Carrick already has established expertise.

Director Tracey Carter said: “Despite travel being a competitive world, it is always sad to hear of the demise of a fellow agent.

“When the news broke, we quickly became aware that most of CWT’s clients are very local, so we are ideally placed to pick up the pieces, and ensure minimal disruption to people’s plans.”

She added: “Like us, Complete World Travel competed with the bigger names by offering its clients focused expertise, and an easily accessible local service.

“We have recently opened branches in Evesham and Pershore, meaning we now employ over 40 staff across our eight locations.

“Carrick continually strives to find more business, and hope that those former CWT clients who are experiencing our service for the first time, become regular customers in the future.”

Carrick’s Leamington Spa store-based tours specialist Fiona Phillips is helping CWT clients.
