CityJet launches £1m marketing campaign

CityJet launched a £1-million marketing campaign today with print, billboard, broadcast and online advertising.

The carrier, based at London City, is targeting adverts at the City of London, as well as Dundee, Dublin, Eindhoven and Rotterdam. Ads will appear in The Times, The Independent, London’s Evening Standard, The Scotsman and Edinburgh Evening News.

The campaign emphasises CityJet’s premium service from London City with the slogan, “CityJet. Now You’re Flying.”
CityJet chief executive Christine Ourmieres said: “The majority of our customers are frequent flyers who appreciate the added-value services we offer.”

She told Travel Weekly: “Our fares are always transparent. Passengers will never pay any additional fees for anything.”

Chief commercial officer Andre Cini said: “Our customers aren’t just choosing to get from A to B, they are choosing to travel properly. Many are regular commuters and it’s important their journey is as pleasant as possible.”

CityJet is the largest carrier at London City, where passengers with hold luggage can still check in 20 minutes prior to departure. The carrier is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Air France-KLM.
