Jet2holidays has announced its return dates for its Spain programme.
The operator intends to resume flights and holidays to the UK’s biggest outbound destination before the end of the month.
Jet2’s twitter account posted the latest update, where it said mainland Spain will be back from August 24 and the Balearic and Canary Islands from August 23.

The announcement also confirms an extension in the suspension of its programme to Spain.
Jet2 had already suspended its programme to mainland Spain until August 16 and its programme to the Balearic Islands and Canary Islands until August 9 following changes to FCO advice and the removal of Spain from the UK government’s safe list.
Holidays to Almeria and Murcia have been paused until October 31.
In a communication to travel agents, the operator said: “Jet2holidays have taken the decision to extend the suspension of our flights and holidays programme to mainland Spain, Canary & Balearic Islands due to the continued Covid-19 Pandemic.
“We still have plenty of holidays available to alternative destinations including Greece and Turkey next week for your customers to rebook.”
All holidays departing up to and including August 22 will be automatically cancelled, with full refunds offered, it added.
