Eurotunnel boosts hotel flexibility

EUROTUNNEL has introduced a short break programme based on hotel choice flexibility into its new Motoring Holidays brochure.

The cross-channel operator has also added hotel stays at Novotel Survilliers and Mercure St Witz at Parc Asterix outside Paris to the brochure.

The operator’s Go As You Please flexible breaks provide customers with hotel vouchers which they can swap for stays at any of 350 properties throughout Europe.

The lead-in price, which includes return crossing, is £45 per person for the first night, based on four people in two rooms who have shared a car.

Any number of subsequent nights start at £17.

Eurotunnel runs Motoring Holidays in partnership with Cresta.

The short-break holidays focus on northern France, Belgium and Holland and include luxury hotels, family-run auberges and chateaux.

Prices start from £50 per person, based on two adults sharing one night’s accommodation, including the return Eurotunnel crossing.

The operator says there are also more family holidays featuring CenterParcs, Sun Parcs and Gran Dorado holiday villages in France, Belgium and Holland featured.

The brochure runs from September 1999 to August 2000 and is being sent to travel agents now.

Eurotunnel has also just issued some mini-brochures for the run up to Christmas – Discover Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels , Discover Golf in France and Christmas Markets in northern Europe, with details of what these markets specialise in.
