Emirates is restoring Birmingham-Dubai flights from September 1 as its rebuilds its network.
The carrier has already resumed services from Heathrow, Manchester and Glasgow to its hub in the Gulf state.
The addition of Birmingham comes despite Covd-19 quarantine regulations requiring UK travellers returning from Dubai to self-isolate for two weeks.
All travellers to the UAE must carry out a Covid-19 PCR test and receive a negative result within 96 hours of departure, with a second test possible on arrival together with a period of self-isolation, according to Foreign Office travel advice.
Emirates will also resume passenger services to Conakry, Guinea and Dakar, Senegal from September 3, taking the number of cities served in Africa to eight.
Flights from Dubai to Conakry and Dakar will be linked services, operating twice weekly, with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, bringing the airline’s total network from its Dubai hub up to 77 destinations.
