Lowcost Travel Group has appointed former youtravel.com marketing director Paul Riches as groups sales director.
Riches, who recently joined Interhome as commercial director, was previously Libra Holidays sales and marketing director. He has also worked for Cosmos
Lowcost said Riches, who starts next month, will focus on developing both Lowcostbeds and Resorthoppa’s trade business across the UK.
He will also oversee Lowcostbeds and Resorthoppa’s trade European expansion plans having launched in eight countries.
Riches said: “I am delighted to be joining Lowcost, at an exciting time of growth within the business. I look forward to working once again with the majority of the major UK trade retailers, in order to increase our UK and European trade business.”

Riches’ appointment means Tim Buckman, lowcost’s former trade sales director, will focus on his role as managing director of Resorthoppa.
He also oversees Lowcost’s growing partnerships business ventures including easyJet Holidays.
