French cabin crew strike to hit easyJet services

EasyJet passengers to and from France have been warned to check their flight status before travelling to the airport due to a cabin crew strike.

French cabin crew unions UNAC and SNPSC ordered a walk out yesterday due to a dispute with the airline.

The carrier said yesterday that it was “taking every possible step” to ensure normal operations “but it is likely services from France will experience disruption with some significant delays”.

EasyJet plans to operate a full programme of services from France today but advised passengers to check their flight status.

The airline said: “EasyJet regrets that the unions have decided to disrupt customers while negotiations are underway and apologises for any inconvenience caused to them as a result of the unions’ action.”
