Direct flights from London to Corfu, Crete and Santorini have been scheduled for next summer by Greek carrier Aegean.
The new routes will run from May 1 until October 30 with a daily service to Corfu, up to five flights a week to Heraklion and a twice-weekly link to Santorini.
The carrier is ramping up its network next year to support tourism recovery following the Covid-19 crisis.
A fleet of up to 20 aircraft will be deployed offering 65 international scheduled connections plus charters on a further 50 routes.
Further aircraft will connect Athens and the Greek mainland with smaller islands.
Chief executive Dimitris Gerogiannis said: “We are now standing at the most difficult turning point of the pandemic.
“We do, however, need to plan, to adapt to the new needs of our passengers, and to create the necessary conditions for recovery as soon as health conditions allow it.
“To this end, we are announcing a major flight schedule for 2021 directly to the regions and the islands, starting next May and June.
”Our commitment to health-safe travel in 2021, as in 2020, as well as our commitment to supporting tourism remain stable.”
