SunExpress, a xlaunching a direct flight between Manchester Airport and
Antalya in Turkey will be served from Manchester airport by SunExpress.
The joint venture carrier between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines is to start twice-weekly flights on March 26.
Frequency is due to rise to four flights a week from May 30.
The airline’s chief commercail officer Peter Glade said: “After a year of staying at home, the people of Britain deserve a sunny vacation.
“Our new services to Antalya will serve the British people to arrive at their well-deserved holiday destination, fast, relaxed and for a competitive price, experiencing our unique SunExpress service.”
Manchester airport managing director Karen Smart added: “After a difficult year, the route will mean families and households across our vast catchment will have additional access to one of our most popular summer destinations.
