Villas4You, the trade arm of leading villa company James Villas, is offering £100 per person deposits and £200 discount on all bookings for 2014 made before the end of September.
Previously the reduced deposits have been offered only on charter flights, but Villas4You is also offering the deal on low-cost flights in a bid to drive early bookings.
This means a family of four need pay only £400 deposit at the time of booking. The remainder of the balance is due eight weeks later and the full balance must be paid 12 weeks before departure.
Commercial director Dave Woollcott said: “It just helps families to stagger their payments which will hopefully encourage them to book early. It means we sit with the risk for eight weeks because if they decide to cancel, then we have to still pay the airline, but we are trying to secure early bookings and we feel this will help.
He said 2014 bookings were starting to pick up now as customers return from their 2013 summer holidays and said the last two weeks of September should see a rash of sales with customers taking advantage of the early booking savings.
Woollcott said 2014 Villas4You sales were up over 100% compared to last year.
“I appreciate that’s off a small base, but we expect to double again as we have much more product on sale through Villas4You this year and we now have about 3000 independent agents who could sell us. Not all of them are at the moment, but it’s our aim to get a lot more of them doing so.”
