OTT director leaves to form social media agency with ginger spice

The former director of a travel training company has launched a business delivering social media solutions for travel and tourism firms.

Bruce Martin, previously operations director of Online Travel Training, has set up Ginger Juice to provide three social media services: outsourced activity, coaching and social media ‘health-checks’.

The business launches with several clients already on board including WTM Latin America, WTM Africa and Trinidad & Tobago Tourism.

Martin said: “Social media has always been a passion of mine and I’ve always enjoyed doing it well and seeing the benefits it can bring to businesses.

“Smart travel & tourism organisations now understand that social media is a valuable business activity; however, many struggle to find the time to do it and do well enough to see real returns.”

He added: “I have 20 years’ travel trade experience including many years working with tourism organisations as well as the social media know-how required to provide specialist solutions to travel companies.”
