EasyJet aims to bolster Internet sales

EASYJET is aiming for 60% of its sales to be made over the Internet by the end of the year.

At the moment, on-line sales are half this figure but the airline claims these bookings are increasing. The airline is currently posting its new domestic winter schedule on its Internet site – www.easyJet.com – to further increase business.

The winter schedule is currently exclusive to Internet bookers until further notice.

The new schedule sees Luton-Amsterdam flights increase from three a day to four and Luton-Glasgow flights go from five daily to six.

Other routes will remain at the existing frequencies. Flights from Luton, Liverpool and Geneva to mainland European destinations will be loaded on to EasyJet’s Internet site shortly.
