GTA improves trade offering with Benelux deal

Agents and operators using GTA are being offered a greater choice of hotels though an improved distribution deal with Benelux chain Hampshire Hotels.

The agreement with the European hotel group adds more than 80 properties to the GTA portfolio through the Hampshire Classic, Hampshire Eden and Hampshire Hotels brands.

The hotels are live for retail and wholesale travel businesses to book on TravelCube, Travel Bound and GTA or via XML feed.

The deal further extends the variety of accommodation and experiences that GTA sells in more than 190 countries.

Agreements with 69 chains have added more than 29,000 properties to the inventory in the past three years that agents and tour operators can sell on.

GTA’s senior vice president for global sourcing and product development Martin Jones said: “The region continues to be a good market for GTA and our relationship with Hampshire will add to our success by strengthening our portfolio, offering even greater accommodation choices to our customers.”

Hampshire Hotels sales director Eric van Nieuwenhuizen added: “Hampshire Hotels is excited to extend the pleasant and successful cooperation with GTA to the next level.

“With this new distribution deal GTA enables us to add more properties to their portfolio and therefore we can welcome even more GTA customers in our hotels.”
