EasyJet expands winter capacity

More than 11 million seats have gone on sale as part of easyJet’s winter schedule for 2014-15.

The budget airline expects the most popular destinations to be Amsterdam, Barcelona, Geneva and Paris plus the domestic destinations of Belfast, Edinburgh and Jersey.

The carrier says “hundreds of thousands of seats” have been allocated on winter sun flights to Palma, Alicante, Cyprus and the Canary Islands.

UK director Sophie Dekkers said: “We’re so pleased to be launching easyJet’s winter 2014 schedule. With over 11 million seats available, we’re offering an even wider choice of destinations on our easy and affordable flights spanning the UK, Europe and beyond.”
