Air Europa UK general manager Colin Stewart is to take over as chairman of the Foreign Airlines Association UK.
He steps up from the position of vice-chairman of the association, which represents 45 overseas airlines in the UK, to succeed Naima Kassir of Middle East Airlines.
Stewart, who has worked at the Spanish carrier since 2009, was elected onto the Latin American Travel Association executive board last year and sits on the UK Skyteam Global Alliance committee.
He said: “I will strive to use my position as UK general manager for Air Europa, which gives me great links to vital partners across the UK, Latin American and global travel industries, to offer the highest standards of support and guidance to all our members.”
