The Guild of Travel Management Companies (GTMC) has beefed up its management team with three new appointments.
The new manager positions are being introduced to manage membership, industry partners and marketing communication.
The five-strong team has been structured to deliver the guild’s ambitious goals and communicate its vision for the future.
Each member will have a dedicated role to serve the different needs of members and partners for the first time.
Joining chef executive Paul Wait and manager of industry partnerships Andy Grodecki will be membership manager Julie Cooper, who has 16 years of travel management experience. Also joining the team are marketing manager Katharina Salewski and administration executive Sophie Turner.
Wait said: “As the GTMC continues to evolve we are developing the business to meet the growing needs of our members and partners.
“The five-strong team comes as part of a new structure and vision that sees extensive investment that will enable the GTMC to work harder to lobby those who have a direct impact on the business travel community.
“I’m looking forward to working alongside the new team and the exciting times ahead for our members, partners and the business travel community.”
