Holiday Discount Centre has recruited former Traveltek, Digital Trip and Golf Kings executive Frank Docherty.
Docherty has joined the price comparison site as senior business development director.
With 27 years experience in the travel industry, seven of which have been in the online and technology sector, Docherty is a well known and respected face.
He said: “I’m looking forward to joining a young, dynamic and forward-thinking company that has established itself as one of the UK’s top price comparison travel websites.
“My focus will be on helping with the goals of growth domestically and growth on the international front. I am very excited at the prospect.”
