FRIENDLY Hotels is in talks with a southern European company in a bid to expand its network across Europe.
The company will not reveal who it is dealing with but industry speculation suggests it is a Spanish firm. Friendly, which controls the largely franchised Choice Hotels Europe network, already has more than 300 hotels across the continent.
