JacTravel named in Sunday Times International Track 200 for third year

B2B hotel accommodation wholesaler JacTravel has been named for a third time in the Sunday Times International Track 200.

The list ranks the UK’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales, measured over their latest two years of available accounts.

In this period, JacTravel has grown international turnover 24% a year to £128 million.

This is the third year in a row that the company has appeared in the listing, having previously grown international turnover by 25% in the period to 2013 and 28% in the period to 2012, from a base of £49.6 million in 2009.

The company’s former owners Bowmark Capital sold JacTravel last month to Vitruvian Partners in a deal that valued at £80 million.

Chief executive Terry Williamson said: “To be listed once in the Sunday Times International Track is a great achievement but to manage it three years in succession is very special.

“I am particularly grateful to our shareholders who supported our international growth strategy and am extremely proud of the management team and all our staff and who have made it happen.”

JacTravel operates from 10 offices worldwide and employs 220 staff providing services to more than 1,000 active travel trade customers.
