A change in board level management at Kuoni Travel in Switzerland is being made due to the departure of the head of its outbound and specialists division.
Stefan Leser is leaving the Kuoni Group within the next few weeks following a transition period.
Rolf Schafroth, executive vice-president and head of the Global Travel Services (GTS) division, is moving to take over Leser’s role from October 13.
The GTS division will be managed from December 1 until further notice by Ivan Walter, who will also continue to manage the fully independent travel (FIT) segment.
Leser has worked for Kuoni since 2005.
A company statement said: “The board of directors would like to thank him for all he has done.
“He has made an active contribution to the onward development of the Kuoni Group in recent years, and the board wishes him all the best for his future professional and private life.”
