Imminus appoinment aims to tackle industry consolidation

IMMINUS has recruited former X-Tant and Istel account manager Stephanie Young to join a new strategic accounts division.

The network provider has placed Young in the new role of strategic account manager.

She takes on this role after 10 years at X-Tant, formerly Istel, where she was responsible for accounts including ARTAC and also managed products like the ABTA Single Payment Scheme.

Her new division will be headed up by Karsten Karcher and she will be concentrating on the technology needs of major customers like Thomson, Thomas Cook and First Choice.

Said Karcher: “The division was really created in response to consolidation in the travel industry. Clients have become huge organisations with different subsidiaries and different needs.

“The division will work on a partnership level with the clients and help them decide on the technology that theyneed.

“Before this division was set up, the company was very product-led but now we are client led and are concentrating on designing bespoke products for them.

“Stephanie will be a great asset as she is very experienced in the travel industry and has in-depth knowledge.”
