WHAT IS CARTA?
CARTA is a group of 300 independent travel agents and 50 AITO tour operators offering a range of 100 brochures between them.
The agents have to be recommended by two AITO tour operators and offer ‘first class, impartial advice’.
The scheme, originally called the AITO100 Club, was initially established to give agents access to a range of product from traditionally direct-sell tour operators.
