Newmarket Holidays adds new Adriatic escorted tours

Newmarket Holidays has expanded its European collection with two new escorted tours of the Adriatic Balkans: one island-hopping and the other visiting historic cities.

Croatian Island Hopping is an eight-day tour on the 18-cabin MS Equator for a week of sailing.

Highlights are a walking tour and wine-tasting in Korčula, guided tours of ancient Dubrovnik, Hvar and Split and a cruise into Mijet National Park.

It costs from £1,688, with a saving of £187 until July 31, including half-board accommodation, tours and return flights from a variety of regional airports.

The second addition is Adriatic Coast – Dubrovnik, Neum & Mostar, an eight-day tour that crosses from Croatia to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The itinerary includes Dubrovnik and Mostar, famous for its medieval bridges, plus attractions such as Vjetrenica, the most biodiverse cave system in the world (pictured), the ancient city of Stolac and the Medjugorje pilgrimage route.

Clients finish at Neum, the only town in Bosnia and Herzegovina with access to the coast.

Prices start from £1,143, saving £126 until July 31, including half-board accommodation, tours and return flights from regional airports across the UK. Departures for both tours are available from May to October 2025.

David Sharman, chief commercial officer at Newmarket Holidays, said: “Croatia has been a big hit with our customers, so we are thrilled to be adding new tours to an already popular range.

“Both options are fantastic value, with a variety of tours that introduce a region that is packed with history, beautiful landscapes and fascinating towns and cities.

“With departures from regional airports across the UK and escorted itineraries that are unique to Newmarket Holidays, these are two tours that will prove an eye-catching option for travel agents.”
