Aer Lingus Regional adds more Aberdeen-Dublin flights

Aer Lingus Regional operator Emerald Airlines is expanding its service between Aberdeen and Dublin.

Up to two flights a day will run on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays from next month.

The route also provides connections onto Aer Lingus transatlantic services with US Immigration pre-clearance at Dublin airport.

Emerald Airlines head of commercial Ian Lough said: “Reflecting customer demand, we are delighted to be increasing our services between Aberdeen and Dublin.

“Passengers will now have access to even more convenient timings, allowing for greater choice and flexibility in their travel plans.”

Chris Tibbett, aero director at Aberdeen airport owner AGS Airports, added: “We welcome these additional flights connecting Aberdeen to the Irish capital, offering even more choices to customers and further opening up Aer Lingus’ vast North American network.

“It is now easier than ever, not only for Aberdonians to visit Dublin but also for visitors from Ireland to visit the northeast of Scotland and explore the beauty our region has to offer.”
