FUNWAY HOLIDAYS has released a preview edition of its Florida 2000 programme, due out in August.
Orlando prices start from £429 for one week at the Econolodge Maingate Hawaiian hotel, where the operator is also offering its Family Four tariff of £1,256. This includes two adults and two children under 12 for one week, as well as flights.
Private homes with pools cost from £448 for a week, and seven nights in Orlando combined with one week on the Gulf Coast start at £611.
Unlike some operators, managing director Stephen Hughes said Funway is seeing strong growth to Orlando because of increased non-stop scheduled air capacity to the major gateways of Miami, Orlando and Tampa.
He said: “We’re enjoying good demand for seven nights in both Orlando and the Gulf Coast. We can do this more easily than the charter operators because of our scheduled-airline open-jaw capability.”
Funway has added San Francisco to its new USA City Breaks brochure, together with New York, Las Vegas, Boston, Washington, New Orleans and Miami. Brochure prices start from £389, including flights and hotel. Three properties are offered in San Francisco, with three-night prices from £425. The programme runs from October to April 2000.
