Canada-based adventure cruise specialist Marine Expeditions has produced its first-ever UK brochure following the appointment of Voyages of Discovery as its UK general sales agent and its decision to start selling through the travel trade.
Prices in the 1999/2000 programme start from £1,565 for a seven-night Amazon flycruise in April 2000. Other destinations for the line’s three former Soviet scientific research ships include the Arctic, Antarctica, South America and the South Pacific.
The vessels have been converted into expedition cruise ships and carry between 50 and 128 passengers. Specialist lecturers accompany every cruise and prices average £3,000. Marine Expeditions will pay 7.5% commission.
