Thomson and First Choice today confirmed that the 30 British holidaymakers killed in the Tunisian beach massacre were their customers.
All 30 have been people positively identified by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, UK police and Tunisian authorities as victims of the terrorist attack.
“The whole company would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of those involved in this tragic event,” the Tui Group sister operators said.
“Our main focus now is to ensure the families of the deceased and our customers who have been injured receive all possible support at this incredibly difficult time.
“Everyone at Thomson and First Choice is absolutely devastated by the tragic loss of life and terrible pain that this incident has caused.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff in Tunisia, in the air and here in the UK as well as the Tunisian emergency services and authorities for their incredible efforts, in very difficult circumstances, over the last week.”
