Date set for PSCmeeting


ABTA and British Airways are to attend a meeting at the High Court on June 23 in their latest wrangle over passenger service charges.



Lawyers representing both sides will meet representatives of the commercial court of the Royal Court of Justice to brief them on their arguments.



ABTA wants the court to rule that BA’s practice of separating PSC from the overall flight fare is unlawful, while BA will be defending its actions.



ABTAand BA will also be asked to provide suitable dates for when the court hearing can take place.



n ABTA members have elected Beaver Travel owner Allan Beaver as chairman of the ABTAGreater London region. The position was left vacant last month following the death of Gerry Fernback (Travel Weekly May 31).
