Manchester-based Club Travel 2000 is introducing new year-round flights to Faro for next year as part of a drive to expand its portfolio to non-Spanish destinations.
Club Travel 2000 said it was introducing the new Manchester-Faro service in response to agent demand.
Fares start at £169 for seven and 14 nights on selected dates in May and June 2000.
The new launch follows a period of significant growth since December 1996 when capacity stood at 48,000. It now stands at 126,000, an 80% increase on 1998.
Sales and marketing director Ian Scott said:”Faro is a natural progression for us. We service a lot of timeshare fliers and the Algarve.”
Also new for this year are summer-only departures from Belfast and Humberside, starting in July.
This will take its number of UK airports to 13.
