Gulf Air has includedLondon services in its list of routes which will become non-smoking flights from July 1. The ban affects flights from Heathrow to Bahrain and Muscat. Gulf said it made the decision to include Heathrow services after passenger surveys.

Customers must travel on Cathay, through Hong Kong, to Australasia to qualify for the flights between Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Cairns, Auckland and Christchurch. The Ozzie Hopper fare starts from £720 from Heathrow and Manchester.
n BAA sets completion date for terminal work
BAA will complete thedevelopment of Heathrow’s Terminal One arrivals area in the summer. The £208m investment in T1 over the last seven years saw the terminal’s domestic arrivals facilities refurbished last year.
