A NEW conference for senior executives in the travel industry will be held later this month at Disneyland Paris.
The Alpha Forum, which runs from April 21-23, is being chaired by Air Travel Group chief executive Jackie Kernaghan and is designed to stimulate debate among those shaping the industry. The conference has speakers from outside the industry, including M&CSaatchi partner David Kershaw, who will look at the importance of brands. Industry speakers include Club Med president and chief executive officer Philippe Bourguignon and former Going Places chairman Tony Bennett. Delegates who have already signed up for the conference are Airtours Holidays deputy managing director Richard Carrick and First Choice Holidays managing director Dermot Blastland.
Conference organiser Andrew Maxted, of Kingley, said:”We are expecting about 100 people to the conference.”
