Who are these hip shakers who took TNTO on the fashion route?

OUR Lunn Poly blast from the past picture of two weeks ago has prompted the trade to rummage about in its drawers for more faded old snaps.

This week we publish a classic from the early ’70s. But who are these hip cool cats?

Why, none other than the grrroooovy members of the 1973 Tunisian National Tourist Office promotional team of course.

We would like to know where they are now – well six of them anyway.

Two are still at the TNTO and, risking their credibility, we will point them out.

Second right is TNTO deputy director Khaled Jellouli and on his left is promotions executive Moncef Battikh.

Nice velvet suit Khaled and no wonder your colleague Moncef is still promoting TNTO, when he cuts such a striking figure in his sharp two-piece.

But who are the others?

The peace-lover in the wicked check flares must still be well-known with dress sense like that, and the bloke holding the sign on the left has such distinctive Cuban heels.

Maybe those fine people at Avis can help us.

Do you remember eight big-haired, slightly dodgy looking geezers wanting to hire three vans to tour the country?

You can call us anonymously if you like.

Thanks for the shot TNTO and if anyone else has some great snapshots from the past, send them to Backchat. The more embarrassing the better please!
