A one-day outing to Ladies Day at Ascot starts at £325, while a two-night weekend break to the Lake District leads in at £450.

A trip from London to Bradford to mark the 25th anniversary of the British Pullman costs from £250.

Celebrities Ken Hom and Jilly Goulden will host special food and drink-related trips, and there are days out to sporting events like the Rugby World Cup and Cowes Week.

Venice Simplon claims more than 50,000 people took a trip on the British Pullman train during 1998.
