QUEENSMoat Houses has named Michael Finkleman as managing director UKand the Netherlands to replace Michael Cairns.
Cairns has stepped down after five years as chief operating officer of the hotel group. He is to stay on as a consultant with the company until April 2000. Finkleman was previously managing director of QMH’s Bilderberg brand in the Netherlands.
In his new position, he is responsible for 50 hotels in the UK division and 22 hotels and two restaurants in the Netherlands.
Hans Gemmer remains managing director of the group’s German division, which has 34 hotels under the Holiday Inn and Queens brand.
