SWALLOW Hotels managing director Peter Catesby has taken over as group chief executive of its parent Vaux Group after Martin Grant was forced to leave.
Grant, along with finance director Neal Gossage, fell out with other board directors over plans for its pubs and brewery businesses. “There was a loss of confidence and trust,” said Catesby.
Catesby has been replaced by deputy managing director Rodger Carrigan.
The group is currently looking for a new finance director but has no plans to replace Carrigan.
