Thomson asks clients to take preferred path


THOUSANDS of Thomson customers who have booked through retailers that are not Preferred Agents have been urged to take their future business to retailers that have signed up for the scheme.



The move is the market leader’s first direct marketing campaign aimed at driving sales through its top-performing agents. Letters sent to customers highlighted the benefits of booking with Preferred Agents and listed four in their catchment area.



Sales director Manuel Mascarenhas said:”This is one of the benefits of being in the scheme. Clients who booked with a non-Preferred Agent have been mailed and told of the benefits of booking with a Preferred Agent. We have made no secret this would happen.”
