SUPERBRREAK has estimated it will sell 50,000 tickets for the Millennium Dome before it closes at the end of the year.
The operator has shifted between 5,000 and 6,000 tickets so far but predicted demand will step up later in the year.
Sales director Ian Mounser said:”The response has been quite good. We have not sold as many tickets for the Dome as we have for The Lion King but it will pick up.” He said they had no preconceived ideas of how many tickets it would sell.
“We didn’t set targets before they went on sale but I now think we will sell around 50,000.”
