ON THE MOVE:
n Cyprair Holidays has appointed Howard Jonesas regency sales manager North and Midlands. He joins from Citybond Travel Consultants where he held the position of sales manager North and Midlands.
n Stephan van der Meulen
has been appointed by Bass Hotels andResorts as regional director of sales for UK, Benelux and the Nordic countries, based in Amsterdam. He has worked for Bass Hotels andResorts for 13 years.
n David Johnston has been appointed as sales director at Rail Europe. He recently ran his own independent travel agency in Kingston and previously worked for First Choice Holidays.
n Stagecoach Holdings have announced the promotion of Martin Griffiths, currently group business development manager to the position of group finance director. Ann Gloag, co-founder of Stagecoach and currently an executive director is to take a step back from her responsibilities to become a non-executive director.
n John Cooper has joined Apartments Abroad in the newly created position of overseas operations and marketing manager. He joins the company from Club Travel 2000 and has also previously held positions with both Flying Colours and the International Leisure Group.
